Building Your Community Development Practice Framework

Overview

Your community development practice is shaped by your experience, values and the choices you make every day. A personal practice framework helps you bring these elements together and explain how you work, why you work that way and what you want to strengthen next.

This practical, reflective one-day workshop provides space to explore the knowledge already held in your stories and experience. Through supportive conversations and creative activities, you will begin building a framework that reflects your own approach.

Facilitated by Helen Betts and Heather Ellis, the day offers a thoughtful starting point for developing your practice with greater clarity, confidence and intention.

Who Should Attend?

This workshop welcomes emerging and experienced practitioners, including:

  • Community development practitioners and community workers
  • Community engagement officers
  • Local government and place-based teams
